"The Legend of Lightwind"

Lightwind formed in a bauxite mine in Chile in 1982.
Lightwind are the only band to tour both North Korea and Iran during their "Axis of Eden" tour of 2004.
Lightwind began as a metal-polka band under the moniker "Intestinal Contempt."
Band member Will Kitchen was abducted by a family of yetis in 1976. His experiences are chronicled in the TV movie "Are We There Yeti?" He speaks fluent Yetinese.
The song Transparent Dog is about a transparent cat.
Touch My Feeliings is about Vietnam.
Lightwind organized the somewhat successful Million Worm March of 2006.
In 1999 member Matt Wainwright conquered his crippling addiction to gas station burritos.
In 1986 member Rob Zverina innertubed the length of the Amazon to win a $64 bet.
Lightwind belong to a burgeoning religious sect known as "The Incredible Church of Gary" which celebrates the wisdom of Jesus' neglected/challenged brother, Gary Christ.
Band member Jesse Paul Miller once ate cereal with a fork.
Unicorn Sandwich compiles Lightwind's favorite recipes from the road.
In 2003 Lightwind founded the organization "Drivers Against Drunk Mothers."

Lightwind was the short-lived attempt by 4Shadows to cash in on the Christian rock craze that was sweeping the airwaves in a subset of certain highly lucrative markets, but sadly penetration was never achieved.
